What financial services passporting arrangements does your jurisdiction have with other jurisdiction?
Once authorized in Belgium, a Belgian firm can passport its authorization into other EEA member states. Passporting permits the provision of cross-border services and the establishment of a physical branch location within the EEA.
Passporting is, however, only available to firms established in Belgium and is not available to Belgian branches of third-country firms.
