On November 30, 2024, was issued the Supreme Decree N° 016-2024-JUS approving the Regulation of Law N° 29733, Personal Data Protection Law. The Regulation establishes new obligations for data controllers and processors (detailed in our chapter).

A Law to Promote Use of Artificial Intelligence came into force two years ago. The Secretary of Government and Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers recently issued the new draft of the Regulations of said Law We are awaiting the approval of those regulations
