The process to register a Mexican branch usually takes 4 to 7 weeks. The branch must have a named representative for general administration and tax representation, however these can be the same person.  Notably the tax  representative for the branch  must have complied with relevant immigration provisions or be a Mexican national and registered with the tax authorities. It is necessary for the branch to have a bank account (but this could be opened after registration).
