There are no specific cybersecurity law or regulations that are applicable to private entities. The Data Protection Law 18,331 and its complementary regulations contain some sections in this regard. On the other hand, there are some provisions that apply to public entities.

Yes.

It is expected that during 2024, a regulation on AI will be generated that will incorporate data protection aspects among others.

A Bill on Cybercrime is being reviewed in Parliament. In 2023, the Bill was approved by the first Chamber of the Chambers of the Parliament. Approval by the second Chamber still remains. This is a Bill that the majority of the members of the Parliament agree on.
